THE Concert

THE BEGINNING!

Yeah I went to the TRACE and toby concert! It was GREAT FUN!

Even this far away, Trace is freakishly tall.

Good times were had by all. Krystal and Amanda go extremely early so that they can get the good grass seats. I think that the sun gets to Krystal -- you will understand in a moment......

Here we are with my good friend (sister) Machelle. We spend alot of time together and so to make it easier we tried nicknames -- well we have ALOT of the same ones. We just decided to go by chl for both of us. It works.

Both gals are BLONDES!!!! Boy did they ever get into shakin their badonadonks!!!!

The Sun has finally gotten to her!?!?!?!?!?!?!

THE END! ;( sad times. It is over. Surely they both could have sang for another hour or so easily...

Cover

This is one of many projects that I have been trying to work on with everything else that needs to be done in my life. I am so excited that this quilt turned out really well - in every way shape and form! Being on the front cover doesn't hurt any either. I can't wait till the end of Sept when the books will be out for purchase. There are some really "FUN" ones in it. ohhlala

Off to work on Marie Antoinette........

Softball Games

Wayne LOVES Softball!!! He is currently playing two nights a week, two games per night. Occasionally -- I will go and drag the kids with me. This is how interested Ky is ..........................

AJ acts like the well behaved child that he is -------- NOT!!!!
The HILITE of the game was when said well behave child apparently needs to go to the bathroom. He drops his drawers and whips it out and sends out a pretty good stream right out there in the wide open public park area!!!! Makes a mom so proud!!! Apparently the weed was thirsty! :p~~~

I thought that the 6-8 players that were walking with Wayne and I were going to wet themselves also because there were laughin so hard. What a site that would have been. :D lol

Family Craziness

We just had our county fair. I help, volunteer with the horse shows. One of the shows is an Open Invitation for the more MATURE people! I can't believe Janet's horses let her do this to them.

Our resident Rodeo Bull Clown.

The Back side was pretty dang Great!

They both won 1ST overall!!!! However, she is starting to get a reputation on her costumes.... What will she come up with next year????

First Week of School

I can't believe that it's school time already -- And I have a Jr. High student.?.?.? AGAIN! There was some major nerves going on, both with her and me. She is still petite and different personality that I have different worries for her. My older children I didn't worry as badly with them going to Jr High as I did with Ky. She was struggling pretty badly with the combo on her locker. It was almost comical. She is 12 and still has issues with rights and lefts???? Whats up with that? There ended up being a bus stop issue on the first day, but that has since been taken care of. It would have been nice to know that the stop had been moved!!!

Here is Ky on her First day of 7th grade. So CUTE! At her school, they have the 7th graders go a day earlier for half a day so that they can get a grip on how it is all going to go. Finding classes, going to their lockers, making it to their next class and going to their locker and so on. There were older kids there throughout the halls to help out in any way -- which was great! She even got on the RIGHT bus ok and made it home!!!! Life is Good!

She had the next day off. Here she is on her First FULL day of school with ALL of the 8th and 9th graders! SCARY! We both survived though! WHEW! Her with her 3 loves : Horses, Pink and Cupcakes! Who else do you know that could pull that off? :)

Children

Finally after the doc gets back from vacation, we have news!!

Kylee is semi-good news. It's a hurry up wait and see what happens routine. Her curve is only a 7% curve, so technically it isn't scoliosis. Just take another xray in a year and see what has developed. YIPEE!!

Austin, well, the doc still feels like he will grow out of this seizure stage within the next couple of years. However, if he keeps having them, to let him know. If by chance he has any WITHOUT a fever, then that is something entirely different.

I love living on pins and needles like this.

In the meantime, I have ALOT of sewing to get caught up on. Unfortunately, my little photographer has put my camera in a really safe place and I haven't been able to find it yet. So you all will just have to trust me on all that I talk about. Hopefully the camera will be found soon and I can take pics to show you.

I have done another quilt top for Konda Luckau for her new book. It is soooo cute!!! It is made with charm squares - of course - and it is FISH! of all things -- done in batiks! WOW! comes to mind. Konda hurried and quilted it so now I have to trim and bind it. I have a week while she is on vacation.

I have been talking with another designer about sewing up some samples for her, but she lives 3 towns away...............We will see. Hopefully. Eventually.......

In the meantime, I have been sewing up a large amount of blocks for a round robin (block exchange) that need to be done in the next couple of days, getting kits and directions ready for my Holy Stitches group, working on Marie Antoinette and Thimbleberries for the store and having a couple (or 4) of 4H horse shows in the middle of all of my madness. OH and one of the most important things that happened -- KY had a birthday! WOW! she is 12 and going to be in JrHi! She is just to little to be that old!
