binding, binding, binding.....

I got Konda's quilt done for her -- in the nick of time. Can't wait for the book to come out so that you can see it. All 44 blocks got done for the round robin, with minutes to spare. Several quilts have been quilted so now I am turning into a binding fool! It takes me FOREVER to hand sew bindings on. I guess its the perfectionist in me. I want the backs to look just as good as the fronts. That was how I was taught and that is what I strive for. No I will never be a "master" piecer/quilter/seamstress, but it will be pretty dang near close. I know, arrogant sounding, no, just confident in my abilities.

  1. Hey Michelle! Sorry I missed your call yesterday and wasn't able to get back to you right away.

With primary and Dan working more these days (50 hours) I've had to let a few things give in my life and for now quilting needs to be one of them. I sure do appreciate all the help you've given me and hope you don't feel like you've wasted your time. If anything you've shown me that sewing can be really fun and even fulfilling which is something I hadn't realize before. So thanks.

I was not at all offended by your last post. I actually successfully offended 3 people last week which I think may be some kind of record for me. I just tried to make it right the best I could and then told myself to stop worrying about it. It is impossible to please everyone.
